Upon completion, each piece is dried in a kiln, fasteners checked and reset, surface and ends lightly sanded, and then sealed with a clear satin finish. The finish gives the wood an appearance similar to rich dark leather, seals against moisture, prevents mold and mildew and helps stop damage to wood fibers from ultra violet (UV) light.

If the furniture is used indoors, the initial sealer will last a considerable time with no maintenance other than cleaning with a damp cloth. If it is placed outside under a roofed-in area such as a porch, the sealer will last a long time, but not as long as indoors. It is recommended that all willow items be used indoors or under a roofed-in area.

If you are outside our usual delivery zone we can arrange shipment to anywhere in the Continental United States. For purchases not made from the sales floor, please allow a minimum of 6-8 weeks.
